Practical lead generation guides

Agree how invalid and duplicate leads are handled

A clear review process starts before the first lead arrives. Define what makes an enquiry invalid and how repeated enquiries are recognised, then record the agreed process for raising concerns.

Agree how invalid and duplicate leads are handled: the questions to resolve.

Name the exclusions

Possible exclusions include requests outside a service area, work you do not offer or enquiries that lack agreed required details. The actual exclusions depend on the campaign. Avoid treating a lost sale as automatic evidence that a lead failed the qualification rules.

Define a duplicate precisely

Discuss which details identify the same prospect or request and the period the rule covers. A repeated submission about the same job differs from an existing contact making a new request. Decide how those situations will be treated rather than relying on a vague promise of no duplicates.

Agree the review evidence and timing

Record how a concern is raised, what supporting information is needed and how the decision is communicated. Share only information needed for the review. Avoid including sensitive client documents when a short description or delivery reference is sufficient.

Keep the policy campaign-specific

Credits, replacements, review deadlines and other remedies need to be explicitly agreed. This guide describes the questions to resolve; it does not create a universal refund or credit policy for Hello Qualified campaigns.
