Exclusive and shared leads: what to ask
Exclusivity is a delivery term that needs a precise definition. Before buying leads, ask who else can receive an enquiry and whether that answer changes over time.
Tell us your target marketWhat exclusive should mean in the agreement
Ask whether the provider delivers the enquiry to one buyer only, and whether that restriction applies to a defined campaign, service or period. Exclusivity within a provider’s system does not mean the prospect has contacted no other businesses independently.
What to establish about shared delivery
If enquiries are shared, ask how many providers may receive them, how delivery is timed and whether buyers offer the same service in the same area. Understand what the prospect has been told about being contacted. Do not infer these terms from the price alone.
Response and fit still matter
An exclusive enquiry can still be unsuitable if it falls outside your service or arrives when you cannot respond. A shared enquiry still requires an accurate service match and appropriate follow-up. Review delivery terms alongside qualification and your team’s capacity.
Confirm terms for your campaign
Ask about resale, later redistribution and any exceptions. Hello Qualified’s site does not promise that every enquiry is exclusive; the delivery model needs to be explicitly agreed for the campaign you are considering.
